Glen Builders Inc. sold to senior manager David
Miller.
Glen Builders Inc. was sold December 1, 2008 by Ed
Poliquin and Bill Rice. David is a 20+ year employee from Bridgton,
Maine. The transition to new ownership passed with little change.
Miller continues to oversee the daily operations of the company,
while maintaining the customer service and quality that Glen
Builders has been known for.

North Conway Country Club, N.
Conway: Glen Builders
has been awarded the contract to build a new 6,000 SF maintenance
facility. Groundbreaking will start in November with completion in
time for the 2010 golf season.
Abingdon Square, Goffstown, NH:
Construction is underway on Mast Road, on The Townhomes at Abingdon
Square, 25 two story townhomes in 5 buildings. The developer is
NeighborWorks Greater Manchester. NeighborWorks Greater Manchester
is a non-profit organization dedicated to the improvement of the
lives of individuals and families living in the Greater Manchester
region by providing access to quality housing services. Glen Builders
is proud to be involved in yet another project to assist NH resident
obtain affordable housing.
Romano Place, Lebanon, NH: Glen Builders
is the construction manager and site contractor for the 16
additional units being built for the Lebanon Housing Authority in
the Romano Circle community. This project is receiving direct
funding through ARRA's Treasury Program.
Community Action Program
Belknap-Merrimack, Franklin, NH: Glen Builders was the
successful low bidder for a 4 unit, 2 story wood framed apartment
building in Franklin. This project adds to the total number of units
in the area, helping low income families remain financially
independent.
Haleytown Road, Fryeburg, ME:
The top coat of paving has been laid
on the second of three phases to reconstruct Haleytown Road. Glen
Builders Civil Division completed the work in the fall of '08.
Oxford Runway 15-33, Oxford, ME:
The
civil division was under a tight, 45 day, time frame this spring to
remove and reconstruct the main 3,000 foot runway for the publicly
owned Oxford County airport. The runway was opened within the 21 day
maximum closure. New lighting, signage, pavement markings and tree
clearing added to the rehabilitation work.
